On Sunday afternoon, members of National Honor Society took time out of their day to clean up trash laying around both the high school and elementary school grounds as part of their April Service Project which is to help clean up our district and its spaces

5th grade Earth Day Service Project
Ms. Sutton's 5th grade class got a head start on Earth Day this year. This class walked the elementary property and collected three garbage bags of litter, ahead of Wednesday's Easter Egg hunt. As they collected students talked about how they felt like they were making a difference for their school. Some of these students even opted to continue the clean up effort during their recess time. They were able to inspire other classes to think of what they might do for Earth Day as well.
We are so proud of this group of students and thank them for their hard work to make our school property look great!

All had a great time at the elementary school Spring Dance. The kids were awesomely behaved, and the staff enjoyed spending time with them. A huge shout-out to our wonderful Snyder staff and PTG for helping the kids make fun memories!

The schedule meeting of the Community Relations/Wellness Committee on Monday, April 14, 2025, has been cancelled.

A few of our Future Teacher’s Club members spent a day touring Elmira College. It was a terrific day and we even bumped into some Sayre alumni. A special shout out to Pat Gillette for all his help orchestrating the day!

Mrs. Wheeler, Mrs. Perry and a group of SHS students attended the Try the Trades career exploration event hosted by the Career Development Council. Students explored skilled trades and in-demand careers and participated in hands-on-activities; including heavy equipment operation! It was an awesome day for everyone! ❤️💙

Our amazing team of 11 students went head-to-head with other schools in the Battle of the Books! They read a total of 42 books and brought their A-game to every challenge. The competition was tough, but they did an incredible job representing our school with knowledge, enthusiasm, and team spirit!
A huge congratulations to our readers for their hard work and dedication. You made us proud!
