The Life Skills students in Introduction to Gardening have been busy harvesting pumpkin seeds. They emptied a pumpkin, washed and strained the seeds, and then laid them out to dry. After the seeds dried, they sorted the seeds into their own packets to take home, and to keep for the class for next year. Hopefully this experiment works!

Congratulations to the girls Jr-Hi Basketball team who got their first win of the season 14-12 over CV. Marianna Mantz led the team with 6 points, while Hailey Sanderson had 4 and double digit rebounds. Aisha Winiavski did a great job handling the ball and Kaylee Kmetz, Trinity Stone and Maddie Roberts played great defense. The game was decided in the final seconds when Isabella Stamille stole the ball and drove the length of the court for the game winning layup as time expired. Great job ladies!!

First graders observed and learned about the life cycle of a butterfly. Some first graders were able to watch a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis. They were all very excited to release the butterflies into nature!
