Class of 2024 parent meeting this evening beginning at 6pm in the cafeteria of the Junior/Senior High School.
Last night in girls basketball action Sayre Varsity lost at Canton. Abbie McGaughey led the way with 9 points, while Meghan Flynn scored 6 and Lizzy Shaw had 5. JV won their game against Canton 13-11 with Riley Lantz and Morgan Hickey each scoring 4 points in the win. On Monday night the Jr-Hi Girls beat Northeast 19-15 with McKenna Parrish scoring 8, Reghan McGaughey adding 6, Olivia Homer scoring 3 and Eliana Reyes chipping in with 2 points for the victorious Redskins.
Sayre Area SD will dismiss early on January 9, 2024, due to the impending weather.

Congratulations to our Speech and Debate team who competed in two different asynchronous speech tournaments over the break! The Sparkle Season Spectacular was hosted by Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh, PA and the Winter Chill Tournament was hosted by Delta High School in Pasco, WA. Our students competed against a total of 47 other schools all across the country! Congratulations to our entire Speech and Debate team, you make us proud! ❤️💙

Congrats Layla Bennett who won the 120lb weight class today, going undefeated at the Bedlam for the Belt tourney in Allentown! Kennadie Cochrane went 2-2 taking 5th in her weight class and Mikyah Brown went 1-2 and also took 5th. Geat job ladies!
We had the best day playing reindeer games, hot cocoa, popcorn, and the polar express! Happy holidays and New Year!

The JV/V Boys Basketball games tonight will be a RED OUT. Come in red & cheer on the boys as they take on Northeast Bradford beginning at 6:00 PM in the High School Gym.

This past weekend our Speech and Debate team travelled to Webster-Thomas High School in Rochester. Individual awards were earned by Abigail Kinsman (2nd place in Dramatic Interpretation),
Brooke Romig and Katherine Riley (1st place in Duo Interpretation),
Linda Zhang (1st place in Declamation),
Regan Chapman (3rd place in JV OI) and
Madi Mezzatesta (2nd place JV OI). As a team the Drama Llamas brought home 3rd place sweepstakes! Congratulations, team! You make us proud! ❤️💙
