2023 Halloween SPOOKTACULAR!
🎃🧙🦇
Kids Night hosted by the Senior class of 2024.
Attention all students: Would you like a free yearbook? Good news! You can earn a free yearbook by participating in this year’s school wide fundraiser. There are actually three fundraisers in 1, increasing your chances of earning a free yearbook. The companies are Dutch Mill Bulbs, selling spring flower bulbs, Cooke Tavern Soups, selling delicious soup mixes, or our own local 1-1-4 Howard Candle Company, selling the most amazing smelling candles, waxes, and room sprays. If students sell $75 dollars of products total, from all three companies, they earn half off the price of their yearbook. If students sell a combined $150, you will receive your yearbook for free! If you have already purchased a yearbook and sell $150 of products, you will be reimbursed for the price of your yearbook, minus any personalization. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Wagaman. All money and order forms need to be returned to your homeroom teacher by November 2nd. Delivery will vary, but all will hopefully be delivered before Thanksgiving break, and just in time for the holidays. The soups and candles will especially make great gifts! Thank you for supporting the yearbook program and helping us grow through these fundraisers.

In honor of Halloween, Mrs. Lezak's enrichment students have participated in a Not So Scary Zombie Unit. At this point they have learned new vocabulary, completed a viral logic puzzle by reading letters to figure out where the virus started that turned people into Zombies, studied topographical and density maps to decide where they should go in the world to avoid getting the virus, created presentations to persuade Mrs. Lezak to go with them, and built a filtration system so that they had drinking water on their adventure (see pictures). What an amazing experience it has been so far!
