Mrs. Lezak's enrichment students just completed a 3D pen unit. The culminating activity was the "Bubble Wand Challenge.' The students had to design three bubble wands, using 3D pens, to fit in the categories of biggest bubble, double bubble, longest lasting bubble, weirdest shape bubble, or create a cube-shaped wand. Sayre Area School District Offers Free Breakfast and Lunch for ALL STUDENTS!
Students in Snyder Elementary and Sayre jr./sr. High School can receive a free breakfast and lunch daily. Some of our new items that students have been enjoying are Chicken and Vegetable Dumplings, French Toast Bites, and Chicken Nachos w. Queso. At breakfast students can choose a 100% juice, Fresh fruit, and low fat milk to accompany their main entrée. At lunch students can choose low fat milk, 2 -1/2 cup servings of vegetables and up to 2 ½ cup servings of fresh fruit with their entree!
Sayre Recreation is pleased to announce sign ups for Co-Ed Basketball grades 3-6.
Sign ups will start 10/9/23.

Sayre’s Jr-Hi Volleyball’s A and B teams both beat Canton in 3 sets last night, Coach Garrity was very pleased with the fun the girls had while playing together in their big win against Canton, great job girls!
What better way to celebrate letter O in Kindergarten than learning about owls. A friend Jane Swift returned to teach us all kinds of awesome facts about owls and brought along lots of cool stuff to share.

Congratulations to the boys cross country team on their hard fought 1 point win over Wellsboro yesterday. The Redskin boys were led by freshman Glen VanBenthusyn with a big second place finish in his first ever cross country race. He got strong team support from Hunter Kimball, Victor Mumo, Sam Claypool and Caleb Grover. Great job boys you make us Redskin proud.
In Varsity girls soccer action Sayre student athletes shined with Meg Flynn had some amazing blocks defensively, Lizzy Shaw had some great runs, and Olivia Thompson scored a goal in the 3-0 win against NEB. Great job ladies!

Jr-Hi Volleyball had a hard fought intense match with North Penn Liberty on Wednesday. The A squad lost in 3 sets, while the B squad won in 2 sets, holding NPL under 10 points each set. Both squads are improving each time on the floor, great job girls!
