Wednesday night lights…it’s The CAVALCADE of Bands!!
The showcase performances of the season were held at Alparon Park in Troy Wednesday night.The Sayre Marching Redskins under the leadership of drum majors Maddie Wibirt & Dylan Bahr really had the crowd excited & involved with their tunes, which featured several solos. The band front wowed them during ‘counting stars’ featuring a silk switch over the band, along with impressive fire batons!!
The band would also like to shout out both the football and cheer squads & their coaches for making the trip out to support them in their biggest season performance! Thank you for your kindness & encouragement!
Ryleigh and Aeiden, students in Mrs. Wheeler’s class, started at their first Work Experience Program job site- Lily of the Valley Flower Shop in downtown Sayre. It was a great learning experience and both girls were naturals at putting together floral arrangements. Sarah and Heather were amazing leaders and we are very thankful for this awesome opportunity. ❤️💙

Girls soccer won over NEB 3-1 last night with Olivia Thompson scoring a goal, great job Olivia!
Congratulations to the Lady Redskins on their victory over the Lady Warriors from Canton. The girls came back from a set down twice on the road to take the win in 5 sets!
Congratulations to the golf team who shot 219 on yesterday. Shaine Strickland led the way with a 45, followed up by Caleb Grover with a 56, while Brooklyn Roberts and James Leonard shot 59's during the 9 hole match. They have been working hard at improving their scores and the future looks bright for Sayre golf, keep up the good work!

Our rec volleyball team traveled to neighboring Athens to take on the Lady Wildcats — and came home with two hard-fought, three-set match wins!
🏐 B Squad: 25-17, 19-25, 15-9
🏐 A Squad: 25-19, 19-25, 15-7
Both squads earned their first wins of the season and will be back in action at home on Wednesday night in Sayre!
