Athen's JV soccer beat Galeton 2-0. Sayre's Rommel Suba scored the first goal of the game. Xavier Denico and Caleb Vaupotic also play on the team, great job boys!

It was a hot day for our Sayre Jr. Redskins cheer and football today! 2nd grade teacher, Mr. Paterson was there to support his students like Dayla Crawford. Snyder secretary Mrs. Morgan's son Jackson had a huge game with two big touchdowns! Thank you to our coaches, parents, teachers, volunteers and the Redskins fans in the stands for braving the heat and supporting our program. #traditionstartshere

You can't help but notice the fun coming from the 6th grade pod at Snyder. Those neon lights are amazing! Thank you Ms. Burgess for creating an inviting atmosphere for our Snyder "seniors". What a cool place to learn, grow and be the "cool kids" who read books and "slay" their assigments!

The current service project being completed by members of National Honor Society is to help clean up the school! After the home football game, Friday Sept. 6, members of NHS walked around the stadium and the bleachers cleaning up garbage left behind. This is the first of a few clean ups scheduled. We hope this encourages others to help clean up too!

Students in grades 4-6 kicked off the year with cooperative engineering design activities for STEM. We were building towers to support apples, designing slides, and building towers with index cards. Third grade used their estimating skills to estimate how long their name chains would be if each letter in their name was represented by a paper clip.
