FBLA & the Class of 2026 wanted to give back to the kids at Snyder for Candy Cane Lane this year! FBLA hosted a Penny Wars competition and the Class of 2026 hosted three hat days to collect donations! Altogether, both organizations donated $800 to Snyder's PTG so each student is able to purchase something at Candy Cane Lane!
Way to spread the holiday cheer, SHS! ❤️💙

The Kinders in Mrs. Romberger's and Mrs. Jarvis's classes prepared a Thanksgiving feast fit for a king! They made everything from appetizers to the dessert completely by themselves then shared a meal family style. A BIG thanks to our cafeteria staff for helping with the turkey.

Mrs. Heft's classes decorated turkeys to celebrate Thanksgiving, but added a fun little twist! 🦃🎉
Students in business classes were asked to decorate the turkey to show their favorite brands. Then, students in First Year Experience (FYEX) wanted to represent the college they would like to attend after HS!
They are all so creative! ⭐️

FBLA hosted a Penny Wars Competition last week to raise money for Snyder PTG's Candy Cane Lane! They received an overwhelming amount of change and cannot thank everyone enough for all of the donations!
Room 158 won the competition by a landslide with 5,120 points because they brought in over $50 worth of pennies on the very last day!
The overall total raised from SHS was $659.77 and 100% of all the change collected will be donated to the kids at Snyder so they can purchase gifts for family and friends at Candy Cane Lane in December!
Great Job SHS! ❤️💙

What better way to spend Thanksgiving week then preparing for a soup/chili cook off?! Students in Mrs. Grunza, Ms. McCutcheon and Mrs. Eick's classes worked together to make soups and chili for faculty and staff at the high school. Staff voted for their favorites by taste testing each. The winning soups were a zuppa toscana soup, lasagna soup and a sausage tortellini soup! Yum! The students worked to find recipes and completed the recipe from start to finish. The students also practiced grocery shopping and working together in a cafe setting. Great things are happening at SHS!
